The tub is of very good quality, I use it to cool down my body prior entering the steam booth. The combination of both is perfect. I recommend.

For the best product care, follow the recommended water and cleaning instructions provided in your Thermax Ice Tub user manual. Only use additives that are confirmed compatible with the tub's materials.

Always keep the lid on when not in use, to help prevent any debris falling in!
We recommend changing the water once per week without any additives.
When you drain the water from your tub, to extend the life of your next fill, we recommend washing the inside surfaces with warm soapy water.

We've designed our bath to fit all sizes up to 2.1m tall (6' 7"), whilst minimising water and cooling requirements.

Super easy! Simply use a hose-pipe, a bucket or container, and add room temperature water. Once filled to approximately 70% full, you'll be ready for your first dip!
Later, we recommend adding ice or ice packs to reduce the temperature further. Our tubs are insulated top, bottom and sides, so will maintain the water temperature for longer than you'd expect!

We recommend deploying the tub outside, under shade, to maximise the passive overnight cooling effect, and then adding ice or ice blocks as needed.

I have had my Thermax tub and have been consistently plunging for 28 days. I keep mine outside on the patio and it has withstood freezing temperatures with no issues. I filled the inflatable pillow thing with water and put it in the freezer to use as an ice pack when the weather doesn’t keep the water as cold as I would like it. Not sure if that’s what it’s for, but it has worked for me. I am happy with the quality of the tub and appreciate the ease of assembly along with the accessories provided. I love making cold water therapy a part of my daily morning routine.
I bought a Thermax tub maybe a year ago and an all weather cover to go with it at time. I've done a handful of dips in it to date following the guildlines that come with it. I come from a Wim Hof Method background of five years roughly on and off. Having experience of open water in skins, cold showers and cold walks the pod is a piece of cake; especially in the back garden. I find it a degree or three colder than a cold shower at 8°c without ice. I'm looking forward to adding ice in future; I've did a common ice bath years ago on a 4hr WHM workshop. It was a psychological break through at the time for me but profound in the moment. At 6'2" and under 12st the tub is adequate enough for me. Although from time to time there are some amazing deals at lumi therapy I am happy with my pod (and it is portable)and balancing shift work, poor sleep patterns and two young children. If I was to upgrade, I would pass on my pod to family or a friend. Thanks Thermax. David M.
We have had our tub for sometime now and are so pleased with this professional piece of kit , it is used daily by myself and son and has never let us down, we feel so much more alive and energetic and sleep better, brilliant after a workout or cycle ride 👍
