This is so good. It has the perfect amount of compression and cold for my debilitating migraines. This stays cold long enough. If I need to I can stick an ice pack under the sleeve and it stays in place. GO THERMAX!

I’ve suffered from migraines for over 20 years and often use ice packs to help, but they don’t stay in place and I have to move it around to hit all the areas that need it. This gives perfect compression, it is soft and hits all the headache spots, also stays where I need it when I toss and turn.

Took a chance on this item. Was very pleased by how effective it was against my chronic headaches. This is a good one. Although it freezes my brain, it looses its "coldness" too quickly. Still worth every penny.

After many years of suffering from migraines, I've used ice packs that slipped off my head or didn't cover the affected areas very well. I love that I can be hands free and relax in bed wearing the thermax hat, or go back to sleep. I can also wear it while working from home and still get pain relief. I wish I had something like this years ago!

Provides cool compression to alleviate migraine pain. Not sure how it provides the cooling, but I can attest to the fact that it does! I do not put it in the fridge or freezer, just keep it in my bathroom cupboard. It feels cool, blocks out all light, and provides compression pressure.

After opening the package, I placed in in the freezer. Later that day, I felt the migraine coming on. Got the cap out of the freezer, put it on and laid down to rest. Within an hour the headache was all but gone. Cooling to the head all around, the black color keeping out the light and the light feel to the skin, not heavy like a cloth rag, helped with the headache going away. Not sure if it will work with every headache, but I can try. Thanks

My wife suffers from migraines. I've purchased over a dozen hot/cold head wraps & compresses. This is the first one she says actually works well & stays in place when she moves. One thing to note is after she pulls it out of the freezer & puts it on her head the cold only lasts about 30min.

Finally a migraine hat that is comfortable and works. The soft gel material makes it comfortable to sleep in and the tightness of the compression helps with the throbbing pain. It doesn't stay cold for a long period of time like ice but the compression feels so good, I didn't mind.

This has been a lifesaver for me a few times. My only issue is that it is COLD and I wonder if keeping it in the fridge instead of the freezer is the best way to go. It's so comfortable and really ices all of the right spots during a migraine.

I like that this is not too tight and fits smoothly over my head. I was hopeful after reviewing other feedback that this would be how it fit. I can't imagine having something too snug on my head during a powerful headache. Most of my headaches are tension or sinus related, although I do have some that seem to come on more strongly and cause some nausea and other migraine-type symptoms. My only desire would be to have it stay cold longer. I am now planning to buy a second one to have in the freezer and pull out to wear when the first one is no longer cold.

This is literally the best money I’ve ever spent. I frequently get migraines and have tried everything from daith piercings to medication which work to a point but this just helps an incredible amount. I’m actually considering never taking it off. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

I suffer from cluster headaches and migraines. I usually wake up in the middle of the night with a headache starting so now I go to my freezer take out the Thermax hat and go back to bed. It works so well I purchased 2 for my daughter who suffers from headaches also.
It is better to get 2 because once the first one gets to room temperature you can put it back in the freezer and take out the second one. Using 2 usually does the trick for me.

When I get a migraine, I want to have my eyes covered but if you turn on your side, your compress falls off. Not only does this cover your eyes and cant shift, it gives soft, even pressure everywhere. When you get a migraine, the tiniest thing can feel like a sword in your skull and this material is wonderful!. I keep it in the freezer for when I need it. I have also had my son use it when his allergies kicked up.

Saw them on TikTok, thought they can’t be that good, but I swear they are. Freeze at least two hours, then pull out and let sit for about ten min, put it on your head and ahhh relief! The best part is on my eyes after working on the computer all day. Seriously immediate relief. Buy it now!

I bought this because of my migraines. It worked so well that I bought it as a gift for friends and family whom I know suffer from headaches.
I keep it in the plastic ziplock that came in every time I place it in the freezer. The fit on my head is perfect, snug but not tight. I can keep it above my eyes, or if I prefer I slide it down to cover my eyes.
It's pretty cold the first few minutes but then it feels as if it stays at a comfortable cold for approximately 15 mins, then starts to lose some of the cold. But I feel it's enough time to relax and soothe my head.
An amazing pro is that there is no water leakage nor wetness as it happens with other types of icepacks.

I've had this for about six months now, and it is A LIFE SAVER. I have a rare brain disease that I've had 15 brain surgeries for and get daily head pain from. I slide this on my head and it really helps. And I love that I can use it as a sleeping mask, too.
The cold from freezing it+ the little "hug" it gives my head feel great. I really want a second one!

I got the Thermax Hat due to chronic migraines and tension headaches. I have only used it twice so far since it came last night but really like it. The cold compression eases the pain and the fact that it’s a hat makes it possible for me to wear it while taking care of my 9 month old daughter if needed. I highly recommend this product.

It’s perfect for a migraine! I am on day 11 of my current migraine and while the pain is beginning to ease some this helped tremendously. I received it today and put it in the freezer right away. After leaving it in for a couple of hours I took it out and put it on. Instant cold and relief (for the moment anyway). The cold lasts just the right amount of time and isn’t too cold that it hurts. I can’t speak for durablilty yet as I just received it. I am definitely going to have to save and get a second one to switch out on days I have more than a dull pain! I don’t usually leave reviews but felt I had to for this one since it is so awesome!

I put this in the fridge instead of the freezer due to it being way to cold when put on after having in a freezer. But overall this thing is amazing for migraines. When I have one the only relief i get is having my man pull on the hair on the center of my head & this product really helps in additional pain relief

I purchased this Thermax hat for my daughter who suffers with migraine headaches. She tried it the day I dropped it off at her home and she has been thanking me ever since. She said it was weird when she first put it on but the relief was great and absolutely loves it. Would recommend this for anyone that suffers from these headaches.

I had a subdural hematoma evacuation (brain surgery) 6 months ago and still get bad headaches. I got a different head ice pack and was very disappointed. I ordered this one a couple days ago and it got here today. I have now purchased a second one. Fits well, stretchy, full 360degree chill status. 12/10 would recommend.

I only recently bought this Thermax hat for my daughter , so there has been only a short term use of this cap. However, she told me it really helped with her migraine headaches, on at least three occasions, so far and was very pleased with it. I suffer with chronic migraines with getting around 25 a month. When they are very bad I would get in the shower and run cool water over my head. I would usually have to stay in the shower for over a hour to get some sort of relief. I order this pack and what is does for me is take the place of water running on my head. It is so nice to get relief without getting wet. After the 1st one I ordered 2 more packs so I have about a hour of using the packs. I keep them in fridg because the freezer maybe them way too cold. They are also a awesome stress reliever.

If you are a migraine sufferer who likes to put icepacks on your head and face during an attack, this is for you. Stays in place and cools very well. Possibly a little too well at first (if you keep this in the freezer as I do). Might need a few defrosting minutes prior to use - or to be stored in the fridge. Overall, a great buy. Highly recommend.

I love that it's one piece and I don't have to fuss with velcro that sticks to everything but the hat or a removable ice pack that won't stay put. It's squishy and holds it's temp for a good 20 minutes. Just the right amount of compression. It has kind of a funky smell and you're not allowed to get it wet, but that's a small price to pay for the relief it brings.

This has helped my headaches SO much! It’s comfortable, fitted but stretchy, so I can wear it all the way over my eyes and lay down for bit. Other times when I need to work or stay mobile I wear it just over my eyes. Stays cold enough for long enough to help ease headaches before washing or throwing it back in the freezer for the next time.

I love it, and may buy another one for when the first one has lost its cooling power. This is so great, because it goes all the way around your head. Wear it like a hat or lower it, and you can wear it over your eyes and sinuses.
I believe it could also be used on your knees. It could also be used on your neck or back, if you lay it out flat.

Very flexible, comfortable as far as the fabric and fit. But you really need some tolerance if you’re going to have in the freezer and the slip it over your head. Very very cold! Too much for me anyway. Super thin barrier between the cold gel and your skin. But fits perfectly. Putting it in the cold part of the fridge was much better for me. Then, maybe 20 min in freezer to get it just a bit colder than fridge temp. Very well made product.

I’m not sure how this has any negative reviews—this thing is absolutely incredible. Even when it’s not icy cold, the gel still stays cool enough to be of relief on its own, quite honestly. Being able to block out any light, is an clear benefit as well. Being able to lay down (side sleeper!) and toss and all turn while it stays snug and in place, is such a giant plus for me. It’s the perfect fit to have some needed light pressure, without being tight at all.
I’m so incredibly pleased with this purchase, and absolutely recommend giving it a shot—it’s truly exactly what I was looking for, and works amazingly.

Mom ordered this for me, along with the wrist one. I was pleasantly surprised when I wore it for the first time. I was afraid at first that it would be too cold or that I could accidentally wear it too long. That was not the case at all. My migraine was under control rather quickly and the wrap was almost warm. I put it back into the freezer bag and back to the freezer, ready for another treatment. I love this!

Seriously the best item I've ever purchased for myself. I have migraines and frequent cluster headaches. On top of that I developed covid and just had a continuous headache for 2 weeks. This was perfect. It had great compression and the cooling feature was great. I feel asleep with it on too many time to count.
It took about 15-20min in the freezer to get the temp where I like it. Super easy to use and well made. It was JUST heavy enough to be comfortable.

Would recommend to anyone who gets headaches often as I do. Very relaxing. I leave mine in the freezer in a bag, but I have to wait a few minutes to use it because it is super cold when first bringing it out to use.

I just got this a couple of days ago, had a migraine after shopping, put it in the freezer for over an hour . Took meds didn’t help, put this on after an hour or so in the freezer, it felt strange for sure. But, I kept it on and after a half hour or so, migraine was gone. I’m tickled. Hope it works that good next time.
If you’re anything like me when you have a migraine you try pushing on your head, just any kind of pressure to help, this did the trick.

Had a bit of a chemical odor when it arrived but disappeared after 2 days out of bag. I love the fit and feel. Retains the cold pretty well. Really helps with my chronic migraines and sinus headaches. Not a cure but certainly helps relieve the pain and throbbing!
I have several different styles of cold caps and face pillows. I keep them all in the freezer and rotate when they get warm. So far, this is my favorite because it comes down over my eyes and cheeks too.

This is the first migraine treatment device that has ever worked for me. It has allowed me to cut my prescription medication use by 75%. It doesn't fully relieve the very worst of my migraines, but handles all of the milder ones. The relief is nearly instantaneous! I like it so much I bought a second one so I always have a spare that is in the freezer in case I need to two treatments. I also brought one for my brother who also suffers from migraines. The best thing about it, is that if I am unable to lie down during a migraine, I can still wear this ice hat and continue with my normal activities. Also, as an unexpected bonus, it can be used to relieve hot flashes too.

My BF had one and we tried it - then bought immediately. If you suffer from any type of headaches this little cap works wonders with wrapping your head in a compressed cold sleeve! Sounds strange but we’ve already used it several times since purchasing, leaving it in the freezer so it’s always ready. Perfect to put it on when you feel a headache/pressure starting and it seems to stop it before it increases to needing meds.

My migraine pain is a 17 out 10. The pain is so bad, my blood pressure shoots up. This doesn’t completely stop the pain but it does cool me down and provide some relief. I haven’t used it warm, only cold. I’d recommend it. If your pain isn’t as intense as mine, it may give you even more relief.

My daughter suffers from migraines. It broke my heart whenever she had one and some lasted a long time. She takes all kinds of things from medicines to vitamins and they help but only so much. I get migraines almost daily—I wouldn’t go so far as to say this gets rid of them, but it sure helps tolerating them! It was an incredible sensation right out of the box —already cool and slipped it onto my head. A soft gentle hug all the way around my head. Cooling my eyes and forehead at the same time as the back of my neck. I have it chill in the refrigerator until I need it. If I need to cook it down quickly, I’ll stick a bag of frozen peas inside of it and place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes—and then use it. But if it has been in the freezer for too long it’s almost too cold to be comforting—it almost hurts. The fridge is fine for longer storage between us. I call it my “happy hat” and it truly helps make it possible to sleep or go back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine. I’m ready to buy one for everybody I know who suffers from migraines! I love it!

This is light weight even after being in freezer for days between uses. I did read other comments on how cold can be on forehead. This is true so I solved that problem by placing light weight wash/dish cloth on forehead then pull the pack down onto my forehead. It provides coverage from lower back of head to over the eyes or you can choose not to cover your eyes. I have even put it on when bedtime & works wonders for falling asleep. I barely wake up to take off during night! As to how long it stays cold- good question. I absolutely would buy again.

This is WONDERFUL. Don't skimp on this - splurge on the hat. The gel is great, is flexible, stays cold for quite some time, very stretchy fit, but snug enough for compression. This feels so good on, I'd love to wear it when I don't have a headache!

I have suffered with chronic migraine for 20 years. This is pretty effective for the not-so-severe migraines and actually helped me to avoid having to take my prescription medication. It doesn't stay cold for a really long time, but I don't think it's necessary. Put it on, let it do it's work, and when it warms up, the compression of wearing the hat over your eyes seems to keep the migraine from returning. The nice thing about the hat is that you can cool it off and put it on again if necessary. I would definitely recommend to anyone with migraine issues!

Love the fit, love the total head and neck cooling effect. Instant cooling and lasts about 30-35 minutes based on being at rest or having just finished workout or being outside. It has helped with minor headaches I've had, but I mostly use for cold adaptive rejuvenation. Also great first thing in the morning to wake up the brain. Better than coffee or splashing water on the face.

“Warmth” is the wrong measure since this is really a cold pack, but I gave it five stars to indicate that it holds its temperature really well. I am a migraine sufferer and this thing is amazing for helping me get through the pain. It doesn’t cure a migraine obviously but it feels great, covers my photo-sensitive eyes, and stays cold for over 30m while I wait for the drugs to kick in. Some nights when I overheat I use this to cool down because it just feels so good. It’s soft enough to sleep in and doesn’t slip off.
Only suggestion is to put a little piece of fabric between it and your eyes or they get a little too cold.

I suffer from chronic migraines and have spent an insane amount of money on pillows, head wraps, ice packs, etc. I wish I would have purchased this years ago. The pressure it puts around your head/face is just enough (doesn't feel tight). The fabric is very soft and it seems to be very durable. The only downfall to this product is that it doesn't stay cold for much more than 30-40 minutes max but it does get cold very fast once it is put back in the freezer. 9/10 would recommend!

I'm on day 2 of a migraine when this came in. I just put this on 10 mins ago and it did what my muscle relaxer, tylenol, and pain spray couldn't do - finally gave me some relief!! I did put this on right after a shower with wet hair so it's incredibly cold but feels amazing. It's very comfortable to wear while laying down.

I loved that this wraps around my entire head because I get severe migraines around 9 times a month. Also I don't know what is in the gel in this but it is sooooo cold which I live for! Only complaint is I wish it lasted longer but as long as I take my meds as soon as I put this on it lasts just long enough for my migraine to calm down. Really love that it fits snug so I don't have to mess with it. Thinking about buying another one for my really bad flare ups when I will need it for double the time.
